- There are multiple "free boxes" located throughout Berlin
- Furniture of all types is simply left on the street, sometimes with a "Zu verschenken" sign on it

Borrowing options:
- Fairleihen is a peer-to-peer lending system (great for power tools, board games, sport equipment, musical instruments)
- Leila is a "lending library" where you can borrow items for a specific duration
- Zlb public library in Kreuzberg has started to lend items such as slacklines
- Another Country is a second hand book store where you rent a book for any duration and pay 1.50€
- BikeSurfBerlin offers bicycles on a pay-what-you-can or pay-how-you-can basis
Services
- Kleinanzeigen has posts where you can get a free haircut
- Bicycle repair can be very cheap if you are prepared to learn and do the work yourself at the the multiple Selbsthilfwerkstatte around Berlin
- Repair Cafes offer you the chance to learn how to and repair your things
